Our underlying principle at the heart of Larch Wood is to promote British wood culture.
We work closely with our clients, our sawmill and the woodlands we manage to create truly special buildings that will not only stand the test of time, but will settle into the landscape.
We draw on traditional timber framing, modern ecological building products and natural materials from the forest to bring the vision to life; whether that's a cosy cabin, a functional barn or an entire self-build eco-home.

With a solid background in forestry, land management and roundwood timber framing, Craig's own woodland on the outskirts of Wivey, was the inspiration for our company name. Craig's intimate knowledge of the planning system, his deep experience in self-building and creative flair with natural form makes him a powerhouse in the eco-building world.

Drawing on nearly two decades of archaeological and heritage woodworking, Marc brings his passion for traditional joinery and natural building to the team. He specialises in hand hewn timber and working with museums to restore or reconstruct ancient architecture.
